Frequently Asked Questions

How does mediumship work?
At the very beginning of each session, Linda takes a few moments to bring a stillness and sense of calm to the reading.  She then invites those in Spirit with messages for the sitter's highest good to spend time with them.  Linda receives messages in the form of images, feelings, physical sensations, smells, tastes, and sounds.  She works with the sitter and your loved one in Spirit to bring clarity to evidence that has distinct and personal meaning for the sitter.

Is mediumship black magic?
No. There is no magic occurring.  Linda believes that we are primarily spiritual beings who are having an Earthly experience. When we pass away, we have just left our physical bodies behind.  Some folks are able to communicate with those who have left their bodies behind.  Whether you communicate with them or not, they are here.   There is no nefarious intent.  There need not be a burning of candles or incantations to whomever or whatever in order to communicate with those in Spirit.

I'm nervous about what Spirit might say.  Can you speak to that?
In all of the years that Linda has been doing readings she has never ever had someone in Spirit share terrible secrets or embarrassing information about the sitter.  Linda always takes the time to answer any questions and help the sitter find a sense of calm before beginning a reading.

Why would someone I was hoping to hear from not come through in a reading?
Who can say for sure?  There could be a number of reasons why a loved one who has passed might not come through in a reading, but it does not mean there is something "wrong" with the sitter or the medium.  If the sitter is experiencing a debilitating sense of grief, is not open to the experience, or is fixated on getting one particular piece of evidence, communication could be blocked.  Your loved one in Spirit may not be ready (or able) to communicate at the time of the reading.  The medium may not be able to pick up any information from your loved one at the time of the reading.  If this happens to you in a reading, feel free to ask Linda about it.

How should I prepare for a reading?
No special preparation is needed.  Bring a pen and paper so that you can write down things you want to remember.  Find a space that is quiet and free of distractions.  Linda will not give a reading to sitters who are driving, walking dogs, or doing house cleaning.
Yes, it has happened.
